ClickPesa Payment Gateway

Tanzania hosted checkout and mobile money payments via ClickPesa. Redirect customers to ClickPesa checkout or receive webhook confirmations.

Setup guidance

  1. Create a Hosted application in the ClickPesa dashboard (Settings → Developers).
  2. Copy Client ID and API Key, then set the Return URL to your tenant callback below.
  3. Configure application webhooks for PAYMENT RECEIVED and PAYMENT FAILED.
  4. Optional: enable Checksum in the ClickPesa dashboard and paste the checksum key below for extra webhook tamper protection.

Use test/sandbox credentials until you are ready for live collections.

Use this URL in ClickPesa dashboard webhooks and hosted return URL.
Checksum Key (optional) Optional
Optional. If checksum verification is enabled for your ClickPesa account (Settings → Checksum), paste the key here to reject tampered or forged webhook payloads before they are even re-verified against ClickPesa.
