Use test keys for development and live keys for production.

Setup guidance

  1. Log in to https://dashboard.flutterwave.com/ and open Settings > API Keys.
  2. Copy Public Key, Secret Key, and Encryption Key into this form.
  3. Set webhook endpoint to /api/webhook/flutterwave.
  4. Enable charge.completed event notifications.

Configuration requirements

Enter these values in the matching gateway settings. Obtain credentials from the provider and keep them private.

Public Key Optional
Flutterwave public key usually starts with FLWPUBK_.
Secret Key Optional
Flutterwave secret key usually starts with FLWSECK_.
Encryption Key Optional
Flutterwave encryption key from dashboard settings.
Environment Required
Use sandbox for testing and live for production.
Currency Required
Settlement currency used by Flutterwave.
Callback URL Optional
Leave empty to use default webhook route.
