MTN Money Payment Gateway

This module enables businesses to receive payments via MTN Money mobile money services. Supports direct mobile money payments, USSD payments, and mobile wallet integration. Ideal for merchants in MTN operating countries including Uganda, Ghana, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, and other African markets.

Use sandbox credentials for development and production credentials for live transactions.

Setup guidance

  1. Register at https://momodeveloper.mtn.com/ and create an app.
  2. Copy API User ID, API Key, and Subscription Key into this form.
  3. Set webhook endpoint to /api/webhook/mtnmoney.
  4. Use sandbox first before enabling production.

Configuration requirements

Enter these values in the matching gateway settings. Obtain credentials from the provider and keep them private.

API Key Optional
MTN API User ID for your MoMo app.
API Secret Optional
MTN API secret key.
Subscription Key Optional
MTN Ocp-Apim-Subscription-Key.
Environment Required
Choose sandbox for testing and production for live processing.
Country Required
Select MTN operating country.
Currency Required
Transaction currency for MTN Money collections.
Callback URL Optional
Leave empty to use default webhook route.
