Wave Payment Gateway

Senegal & UEMOA (XOF) hosted mobile-money checkout via the Wave Checkout API. Customer is redirected to a Wave-hosted page and confirms payment there. Webhooks are HMAC-signed (Wave-Signature) and verified before crediting; verify_payment() re-queries the session status directly as a backstop if a webhook is lost.

Setup guidance

  1. Create a Wave Business account and copy your API key from the Wave dashboard.
  2. Register the webhook URL below in your Wave dashboard and copy the webhook signing secret - webhooks with an unverifiable Wave-Signature are rejected, so payments will never be credited without this.

Enter these values in the matching gateway settings. Obtain credentials from the provider and keep them private.
