Finance → Expenses records what the business spends, so reporting reflects profit and not just revenue. Expenses are grouped into categories you define.
Categories
Create category adds a spending category - bandwidth, salaries, fuel, equipment, and so on. The category list shows how many expenses each one holds, so you can see where the money goes.
Recording an expense
Create expense records a single cost:
- Title - what the expense was for.
- Amount - the amount spent.
- Category - which spending category it belongs to.
- Vendor - who was paid.
- Payment Method - how it was paid.
- Expense Date - when it was incurred.
- Status - where the expense sits.
The list shows Title, Category, Amount, Vendor, Payment Method, Expense Date, Status, and when the record was created, and can be filtered by category and status.
