Loy is the assistant built into the admin workspace. The name stands for Learn, Observe, and
Yield. Open it with the bot icon in the top bar or the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+K.
What Loy is for
Loy answers operational questions and runs read-oriented tasks using your workspace's real data - not generic advice. Instead of a canned checklist, it calls the platform's own tools and reports what it found.
Typical questions:
- Network - "why is router1 offline?", "is this router reachable?". Loy reads the router's actual status, last-seen time, and reachability, and probes the device where it is safe to do so.
- A specific subscriber - "can 2547xxxxxx connect?". Loy checks that subscriber's session, access code, and account state.
- Money - "how much did we collect this month?", "which accounts are overdue?". Loy reads the figures and can produce charts, and churn reports as PDF or Excel.
- The platform itself - "which payment gateways are supported?". Loy answers from PayGrid's own documentation and cites the source page.
Keeping answers grounded
Two rules govern Loy's answers:
- For anything about routers, the network, or whether something is offline or down, Loy must call the diagnostic tools and answer only from what they return. If the tools return no data, it says so instead of guessing.
- For questions about platform features, pricing, and onboarding, Loy answers from the documentation and cites it, rather than relying on general knowledge.
What Loy does not do
- It does not reach across workspaces. Loy only ever sees data inside your own ISP workspace.
- It does not take destructive action on its own. State-changing requests are explicit and ask for confirmation.
Credits
Loy usage consumes AI credits on your plan. You can see your balance and top up in AI Hub. When credits are depleted, Loy is unavailable until they renew or you top up.
