If your router is offline or unreachable, open Network → Routers, select it, and compare Status with Last Seen in Router Overview. An old Last Seen time means the router's report is stale. These fields show the platform's current router health information; they do not establish whether every customer's connection is working.
The status states
Open a router and read Status in Router Overview:
- Online - the router is currently reporting and reachable in the platform.
- Offline - the platform does not currently see the router as online.
- Never connected - the platform has not received a report from this router yet. Review the router's onboarding status and Last Seen.
Two directions, two signals
A router's report freshness and platform reachability are separate signals:
- Last Seen - when the router last reported to the platform. An old time means its latest report is not recent.
- Reachability - whether the platform currently reports that it can reach the router.
These signals can differ, so customer traffic and the admin router status may not change at the same time. Check both before concluding that the router or all customer connections are down.
Availability
MikroTik Availability turns the router's alert history into a picture:
- Uptime percentage over the selected period.
- Offline events - how many times it went offline in that window, and which days.
Use it to distinguish a router that dropped once from a router that flaps repeatedly.
Asking Loy
Ask Loy "Why is this router offline?" to have it check the router's current health signals. If it has no diagnostic result, use Status, Last Seen, and MikroTik Availability when contacting your network administrator. See Loy AI assistant.
