Customer portal

What can customers do in the customer portal?

What customers see and can do in their own portal - account, devices, recharge, invoices, ledger, rewards, and tickets.

Every customer gets their own portal, separate from the admin workspace. It gives them self-service access to their account, so routine requests do not become support calls.

What the customer sees

  • Dashboard - the summary of their account and current state.
  • My Account - their details and password. Customers can change their own portal password here; if a password is lost, staff can regenerate one from the customer record.
  • My Devices - the devices on their account, each with its MAC, Expires, Last seen, Status, and Source. Customers can Bind new device up to their plan's device limit, and Pay again to renew a device.
  • Recharge - buy or renew a package without staff involvement.
  • Live Traffic - current usage for their connection.
  • User Ledger - every credit and debit on the account, with the ledger type, transaction id, and notes, so a customer can reconcile what they paid against what they were charged.
  • Bonga Rewards - loyalty points, their source, the voucher they came from, and when they expire.
  • My Invoices - their invoices and payment links.
  • My Tickets - raise a support request and follow the conversation with your staff.

Device limits

The number of devices a customer may connect is set by the plan's Device Limit. A customer can register devices up to that limit; the portal will not let them exceed it, and replacing a device frees a slot. See Plans.
