Finance → Billing → Invoices is the billing ledger. An invoice is raised when a customer buys a package or renews a cycle, and it carries the payment link the customer uses to settle it.
What an invoice shows
- Invoice No - the reference.
- Amount - the amount due, in the workspace currency.
- Due Date - when it falls due.
- Status - where the invoice sits in its lifecycle.
- Paid At - when it was settled.
Invoices that have passed their due date are flagged, and the workspace surfaces overdue billing so unpaid accounts are visible without hunting through the list.
Payment links
Pending and overdue invoices have a Payment Link action. From the invoice row you can:
- Copy link - copy the link to share with the customer.
- Resend to client (email) - queue the invoice email with the payment link and reset its expiry. This requires a customer email address and the Invoice Generated email template to be enabled.
- Regenerate (extend validity) - reset the link expiry while keeping the same URL.
- Revoke link - immediately expire the link. Regenerate it if the customer should be able to use it again.
- Prompt Payment - send an STK prompt using a configured supported gateway.
These actions appear only while the invoice is Pending or Overdue. A paid or cancelled invoice does not show them.
Exporting
Prepare invoice export produces an export of the filtered invoice set for accounting, using the same column choices and filters visible in the table.
