To record routers, devices, or other hardware stock, open Finance → Inventory (shown as Equipment in the page) and choose Add Equipment. Enter the item's Name, Category, SKU, Serial Number, Quantity, Min Stock Alert, Unit Cost, Selling Price, Supplier, and Storage Location as applicable.
Categories and stock levels
Open the Categories tab and choose Add Category to group equipment by type. The category list shows its item count. Back on the equipment list, the Status indicates In Stock, Low Stock, Out of Stock, or Assigned. A quantity at or below the item's Min Stock Alert is treated as low stock.
Use an item's Stock action to record a Transaction Type and Quantity:
- Purchase (Stock In) or Return (Stock In) adds quantity.
- Assignment (Stock Out) or Write Off (Stock Out) removes quantity.
- Manual Adjustment (Set Exact) sets the current quantity to the entered number.
Add a Reference or Notes value when useful for tracing the movement. Stock transactions record the action and the staff member who performed it.
Assign serialized equipment
For an item with a Serial Number, choose Assign to Customer and select the customer. Use Unassign when the item returns; this puts one unit back into stock. The list shows Assigned To and the assignment source when applicable.
